In order to provide the tasks entrusted to the Institute five Specialized Departments, the Educational Department with the Library and the Preparatory Division,Scientific and Research Center, five Students’ and Cadets’ Training Units (Courses), Classified Information Department with Special Libraries and other units organizing educational and research activities are included to the Institute.
Thirty eight classrooms, including four lecture auditoriums; thirteen group auditoriums; ten equipped specialized classes; eleven computer classes are assigned to the Institute. In addition, the field nodes stations of government communications are deployed in the Institute as a training ground.
It should be mentioned that a number of training sessions in practical training of students of the Institute are conducted in the on-site Learning Centre of the Territorial Unit of Government Communications of State Special Communications Service, subdivisions of Administration of State Special Communications Service, individual units of JSC "Ukrtelecom", as well as the units of the Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies.
Institute purchased modern computer technologies for equipment of eleven computer classrooms, which are currently available for use in teaching process by the specialized departments of the Institute. In general, hundred and eighty seven computers work in these computer classrooms during the lessons. Access to global information resources in the institute is provided through the connection node of the Internet Access Service of NTUU "KPI".
In order to provide special aspects of the educational process at the Institute there is a Library with a general open book stock and classified book fund. Special library of the Classified Information Department of the Institute provides involvement of classified literature assets in the learning process. The cadets (students), post-graduate students and scientific and teaching staff of the Institute can benefit from the general library fund of Scientific and Technical Library of NTUU "KPI".
